Yes. Every Norwesco vertical tank we deliver is manufactured from FDA-compliant, food-grade polyethylene resin and is certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 61 for potable water contact. They are safe for storing drinking water.
Dark green is the most popular option and effectively blocks sunlight to inhibit algae growth. Black is also available. Color availability may vary by tank size — contact us for current options on the size you need.
Norwesco tanks are built to last 20+ years with proper placement and care. They come with a 3-year manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. The UV-stabilized polyethylene resists sun degradation even in full California sun exposure.
A level, supported surface is required. A concrete pad is ideal and recommended for long-term use, but a well-prepared compacted gravel pad also works. We will assess your site during the pre-delivery confirmation and advise on the best foundation for your setup.
